# Edit your product listing

All product listing fields — name, description, pricing, photos, inventory, and advanced settings — are edited from the product detail page. Go to [**Products > All Products**](https://my-shop.fourthwall.com/admin/dashboard/products/all/?redirect) and click the product you want to edit. Bulk editing is NOT currently supported; each product must be edited individually. Changes to product design apply to future orders only and do NOT affect existing orders.

## How to edit product name and description

Open the product detail page by going to [**Products > All Products**](https://my-shop.fourthwall.com/admin/dashboard/products/all/?redirect) and clicking the product. At the top of the page, update:

- **Product name.** The title shown in your shop and in supporter emails.
- **Description.** The product description displayed on the product page. For catalog products, descriptions are auto-generated with material and sizing information; you can customize or replace this text.

For tips on writing effective descriptions, see the [Fourthwall blog guide on product descriptions](https://fourthwall.com/blog/how-to-write-a-product-description-a-step-by-step-guide-examples).

## How to edit additional product sections

Click **Edit additional sections** on the product detail page to modify supporting content shown to supporters:

- **More details.** Material composition and weight information. For catalog products, this is auto-populated. For self-fulfilled products, enter all details you want supporters to know.
- **Size and fit.** Sizing measurements to help supporters choose the correct size. Catalog products populate this automatically. Self-fulfilled products require manual entry.
- **Quality Guarantee and Returns.** For Fourthwall catalog products, the standard warranty and return policy is included automatically. For self-fulfilled products, enter your own policies so supporters know what to expect.

For products from the Fourthwall catalog, these sections are pre-filled. You can still customize them if needed.

## How to adjust pricing

In the pricing section of the product detail page:

- **Update the sale price.** Change the price supporters pay at checkout. For pricing strategy guidance, see the [Fourthwall blog on pricing](https://fourthwall.com/blog/how-to-price-your-products).
- **Enable the compare-at price.** When you lower a product's price, check the compare-at box and enter the original (higher) price. The original price appears crossed out next to the new price on the product page, showing supporters the discount.

## How to update product photos

In the **Photos** section of the product detail page:

- Add new images to the product listing.
- Drag images to reorder them. The first image is the primary display image shown to supporters.
- Delete existing images.

## How to edit the product design

For products created from the Fourthwall catalog, click **Edit product design** to open the product designer and adjust artwork, colors, or print placement. Design changes apply to future orders only. Orders placed before the edit are NOT affected.

For detailed steps, see [Design a new product](/create-and-sell-products/how-to-guides/design-a-new-product).

## How to edit inventory and variants

The inventory and variants section is most relevant for self-fulfilled products. The inventory table shows each variant (for example, "Light Pink, S") with these fields:

- **Variant.** The specific version of the product (color and size combination).
- **In Stock.** The available quantity for that variant. "Unlimited" means no stock cap is set.
- **Sold.** Total units sold for that variant (read-only).
- **Weight.** Per-variant weight, displayed when "Different sizes have different weights" is enabled. Used for shipping cost calculations on self-fulfilled products.

## Additional inventory options

At the bottom of the inventory section on the product detail page:

- **Mark as sold out.** Prevents new purchases while keeping the product visible in your shop. Use this when stock runs out but you want the listing to remain discoverable.
- **Each variant has an identification code (UPC or Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) #).** Unique identifiers for each variant. SKUs are auto-generated but can be customized to match external inventory or fulfillment systems.
- **Mark as members-only.** Restricts the product to active members only. Supporters without a membership cannot purchase it. See [Set members-only products and perks](/memberships/memberships-best-practices/set-members-only-products-and-perks).

After making inventory changes, click **Save** before leaving the page.

## How to access additional product settings

Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the product detail page to access:

- **Order Samples**. Request physical samples of the product for quality review or promotional use. See [How to Order Samples](/create-and-sell-products/how-to-guides/order-samples).
- **Change URL**. Update the product's URL slug to match a new product name. The old URL redirects automatically, so existing links in marketing materials continue to work.
- **Duplicate**. Create a copy of the product listing with all settings pre-populated. Use this to quickly create variations without starting from scratch.
- **Advanced Settings**. Access additional configuration options including Luminate Reporting and attaching a [digital download](/create-and-sell-products/how-to-guides/add-digital-files-to-physical-products) to the product listing.
- **Archive**. Removes the product from your active shop without deleting it permanently. Archived products can be restored. See [Product Visibility and Archiving](/create-and-sell-products/how-to-guides/product-visibility-and-archiving).

## Why bulk editing is NOT available

Fourthwall does NOT currently support bulk editing of product listings. Each product must be edited individually from the [**All Products**](https://my-shop.fourthwall.com/admin/dashboard/products/all/?redirect) page.

To manage multiple edits more efficiently:

- Open several product tabs at once in your browser to edit in parallel.
- Copy and paste common text (updated descriptions or pricing) across tabs.
- Use consistent product naming conventions to find related products quickly.
