This article covers all things minimum order quantity (MOQ) products
Whats is MOQ?
MOQ means Minimum Order Quantity. MOQ refers to the need to reach a minimum of products sold in order for the manufacturer to actually print and ship the products.
Note: The advantage of opting for the MOQ method is that you can earn discounts the more you order at a time. The disadvantage, however, is if you don’t get enough orders, you will either have to cover the fees of the rest of the minimums, or cancel the drop.
Can the MOQ be divided by size?
Yes - as long as all blanks use the same art file. Example: 15 Small, 20 Medium, 15 Large
Regarding the minimum for MOQ, is it per style or per SKU?
Minimums are based on the same art file regardless of sku or style of garment as long as it is the same art, size, print location
Can I combine T-shirts and hoodies to hit my minimum for MOQ?
Yes, so long as it is the same art file
Is there a possibility to merge the 2 production styles for different products in the drop? (I.e., can I do one on-demand shirt and one MOQ hoodie?)
Yes, you can have a drop that features some MOQ and some POD products.
Will Fourthwall pay the upfront costs for my MOQ projects?
Unfortunately, no. However, we work with you to run a pre-sale on products before they go to production.
