Your Fourthwall site gives you the ability to enable/disable accepting donations from your supporters. Donations are a great tool that supporters use to give you additional contributions and support you to create more of the content they love. The great thing with donations is that Fourthwall does not take a percentage off your donations - you get full donations minus credit card fees.
The donation section can be found on your home page and in the checkout experience. You can also add the donation section to any custom page you create on your site.
Enabling/disabling donations from your Home page
To enable/disable from your home page, go to Site design > Layout > Select Home page from the drop-down menu.
You can hide it from your home page by finding the Donation section and clicking on the eye icon. This will hide it without removing it from your settings in case you want to bring it back in the future.
If you want to edit or delete the section, click on the Donation section, and it will take you to edit mode. Here, you will be able to delete the section, edit the copy/wording, and edit the pre-set donation amounts.
Enabling/disabling donations from Checkout
To enable/disable from your home page, go to Site design > Layout > Select Checkout from the drop-down menu. This will take you to the checkout settings where you can update/edit Supporter message, Donation, and Email marketing campaign.
Within the donation checkout setting, you can click/unclick if you want to enable donations in the checkout flow. You can also edit the copy of the donation title via the Donation header as well as update the pre-set donation amounts shown in the donation options.
