Customize the product images shown in your product listings by uploading your own photos or product mockups and setting the image order.
You can upload your own product mockups to replace or supplement the default ones generated by the product designer. Once uploaded, you can arrange the images as you like.
What you'll need
- An existing product in your listings.
- Your custom mockup file(s) or photos
Step 1: Open your product editor
From your Fourthwall dashboard, go to Products > All Products.
Then, click on the product you want to edit.
Step 2: Upload your custom mockup or photos
Scroll to the "Photography and design" section of the product.
Click the plus (+) button and upload your custom mockup.
Once the mockup is uploaded:
- Crop the image to the recommended ratio
- Upload the image to all variants (when present)
Click Add photo when you're done.
Step 3: Arrange the order
Once your mockups are uploaded alongside the default images, simply drag and drop the images into your preferred order.
Note: The first image in the list becomes the main product image shown on your store.
Save your changes.
Step 4: Delete unwanted images (optional)
Hover over any image and click the trash icon to remove it.
Tips:
- Use a consistent image ratio for the best display across the site.
- Keep a consistent background and lighting across images to maintain a professional look.
- If your custom mockup includes key design details, placing it first ensures it's what customers see first.
