Members-only promotions allow you to offer exclusive discounts just for your members.
Creating a members-only promotion
This article covers specifically members-only promotions. For a full guide on promo codes, plase visit this article.
Creating a members-only promotion is really easy: in your admin dashboard, navigate to the "Promotions" tab:
There, click "Create promotion" to add a new one - you'll be presented with a new promotion form:
For a members-only promotion, it is recommended to set the "Promotion type" to "Auto-applied promotion" so your members receive a discount automatically during checkout.
Under the "Requirements" section, select the "Members-only" checkbox. Once done, you'll be able to decide whether the promotion is applicable to all members or members in particular tiers:
A sample setup can be seen on the following screenshot:
With a promotion like the above, all members will receive a 10% discount for a "Fantastic product". Once you're done, don't forget to Save your new promotion!
Once a promotion is created, your website will automatically display a discount-related badge for specific products:
On the product page itself, there'll be an additional note under the price about the promotion requirement:
Setting up a members-only discount perk
Besides from creating members-only promotions, it is also recommended to inform your members about such benefit in a form of a perk. To do that, just navigate to "Memberships", "Perks & tiers", click "Add perk" under a particular tier and choose "Members-only discount" perk:
Once created, this perk will not only be displayed in a list of perks for a given tier but a special section under the "Perks" tab for your Members will be displayed as well, that links to your shop page:
