One of the coolest features on Fourthwall is the ability to customize your site so that it feels entirely yours and fully represents your brand. This is done via our multiple themes available to you for free, and our site designer to customize them even more, all using no-code tools. Themes are templates you can use as a starting point for designing your site. You can further customize it by updating the various options within the settings. Let’s dig into the details behind our theme editor and what each section means.
Where to customize your site?
1. To customize your theme within your dashboard, go to Site Design
2. You will see your editing options on the left-hand side, and on the right-hand side, you will see the real-time view of your site/page. Any changes you make here will be immediately reflected on your site.
Your site design is divided into four main tabs: Layout, Style, Pages, and Theme.
Layout Tab
The Layout tab allows you to organize and arrange sections on different pages. You can customize the layout for:
- Main Pages: Home, Checkout, Coming Soon.
- Custom Pages: Any additional pages you create.
- Membership Pages: Feed, Perks, Video Catalog.
- Policy & Support Pages: Contact, Privacy Policy, Returns & FAQ, Terms of Service.
How to Customize Layout
- Select a page from the dropdown menu (e.g., Home, Checkout).
- Add or remove sections, such as:
- Header: Navigation & branding
- Image Banner: Showcase visuals
- Recent Posts & Featured Collection: Highlight content & products
- Footer: Add site-wide links and info
- Edit code (advanced): Section for more advanced users that allows implementation of custom header and footer code
Note: At the moment, product pages and membership feed pages cannot be customized by the site editor.
