Let your community claim a free product easily with promotional giveaways
Giveaway links are a great way to send free products to specific community members or friends/family. They allow you to gift an item from your shop to a specific recipient without having to collect the recipient’s details and address. Just share the link, and the recipient selects their size and color (if applicable) and inputs their details before checking out—no payment is needed.
Each link is tied to one product and can only be claimed once. Recipients, however, can choose a size and color when available.
How to create a giveaway link
Step 1: Go to the Promotions tab from your Fourthwall dashboard.
Step 2: Click Create promotion > Giveaway links, and this will take you to the giveaway creation page.
Step 3: Click Select product and choose the item you want to give away. You can only select one product per giveaway, but your recipient can pick their preferred size or color (if available).
Step 4: Find your product by scrolling or typing its name in the search bar. Once you’ve picked it, click Confirm to lock it in.
Step 5: Enter the number of giveaway links you want to generate. Each giveaway link is unique and can only be claimed once. For instance, if you entered "4" for quantity, you'll be able to generate four (4) giveaway links.

Important: You cannot modify a giveaway link once it has been created.
Step 6: Once you’ve selected your item and entered the number of giveaways, click Save to generate your links.
If you have not set up your payment method, you will be prompted to allow (payment method required) or block redemptions that would result in negative profit.

Step 7: Your links will auto-generate and appear on the Giveaway Links page. From there, you can export them as a CSV file by clicking "Export links" or copy each one by clicking on the link symbol to the right of each link.
Note: Make sure a payment method has been added to your account or your shop has enough balance to cover the giveaway costs. Otherwise, the person claiming the giveaway will run into an error when checking out, or the order gets auto-cancelled if no funds are available to cover the cost.

Frequently asked questions
How much do giveaway links cost?
You will be charged for the cost of the item and shipping costs based on the redeemer’s shipping destination (the same as if you were doing a 100% off promo code). There are no additional costs for giveaway links.
Do I pay for shipping?
Yes. Shipping costs are calculated based on the redeemer’s shipping address.
Can I modify a giveaway link?
Once a giveaway link is created, it cannot be modified. You can always generate a new giveaway link with the updated details.
I shared the link by mistake. Can I cancel my giveaway link?
Giveaway links cannot be canceled once they have been shared.
Can I include multiple items in a giveaway link?
Currently, only one item per giveaway link is possible.
Will the recipient be able to select their size or color?
Yes! This is one of the benefits of giveaway links—you don’t have to worry about size, color, or shipping details. The recipient will select based on the options available for the giveaway item and enter their shipping details.
