What is Pledge?
Pledge.to is a fundraising platform that makes it easy to donate to non-profits. We've integrated directly with Pledge to allow you to support a charity of your choice with a portion of your donation proceeds.
Getting started with Pledge on Fourthwall
Step 1: Go to Apps within your Fourthwall dashboard and navigate to the Pledge app.
Step 2: From the app you can browse or search for a charity.
Once you find the charity you want, select it.
Step 3: After you've selected a charity, you can set a percentage of all your donation proceeds to be donated to this charity by moving the slider or typing in the exact percentage you want.
In the example above, 28% of all donation earnings will be sent to the charity "Feeding America."
If you no longer want to support this charity, you can click Clear.
How this works with Donations
Once you've selected a percentage, you will see a small blurb under the donation amount section of your donations and order checkout pages. This will inform your supporters that a portion of their donation will go to support a specific charity or cause.
Once your supporter sends over a donation, we will allocate X% of that donation to send to that charity on Pledge's platform, minus any payment processing fees.
Don't forget to inform your supporters of your worthy cause by customizing your donation section in the site editor!
