Learn how to order product samples and test quality before selling to fans
Get a feel for your products before launch. Ordering samples lets you check print quality, fit, and finish so you know exactly what your fans will receive.
Step 1: Create a new order
In your Fourthwall dashboard, go to Settings > Samples, then click Create a new order.
You’ll see your available sample credit balance. You can place your sample order using your credit card, sample credit, or a mix of both.
Step 2: Add items to your cart
Your most recently created products will appear at the top. You’ll see each item’s at-cost price (the amount it costs to manufacture) and how many are currently in stock.
- Select your color, size, and quantity.
- Click Select items to add them to your cart.
Tips:
- Instantly available products appear automatically.
- Requested products show up once our product listers finish adding them to your shop.
- For items with a minimum order quantity, reach out to us at support@fourthwall.com to request samples.
Step 3: Complete your order
- Review your order and click Order now. If you have sample credit, it’ll be applied automatically to your total.
- Enter your shipping, delivery, and payment information, and click Complete order.
You’ll see a confirmation screen and receive an email with your order details and tracking info once your samples ship.
Note: Credit card processing fees apply if any part of the order isn't covered by sample credit. Orders paid entirely with sample credit won't incur fees.
How to check your sample order status
1. Track your sample orders anytime from your dashboard: Orders > All orders.
2. Click the funnel icon > Only sample orders > Done.
This view shows all your active and past sample orders, including their fulfillment and shipping status.
