Fourthwall fulfillment service guide

Fourthwall offers fulfillment services through our 3PL partners for products not sourced through our catalog.

This article will guide you through Fourthwall’s 3PL (third-party logistics) fulfillment services for products you’ve created or sourced yourself, products held in inventory, and any products not found in our catalog. You may want to use these services to streamline the fulfillment process of getting your products into customers' hands.

There are also monthly storage fees to consider. These are charged only for any unsold inventory at the end of the month. You can see a breakdown of the monthly storage fee per unit at the bottom of this help article. These vary depending on the product size. 


Getting started with Fourthwall's 3PL fulfillment

Step 1: 

Reach out to us via our support team email at support@fourthwall.com so we can coordinate with our warehouse partners to prepare for your shipment. You'll need to have the following information ready when you reach out:

Product Details

  • Product name/title (as it will appear in the product listing)
  • All product variants (sizes, colors, styles) and quantities
  • SKU and barcode number for each product
  • Is the product individually poly-bagged?
  • Does the product have a SKU / barcode sticker on it?

Shipping Information

  • Weight and dimensions for each SKU
  • HS (Harmonized System) Codes for each SKU
  • The country the product was manufactured in
  • [For Products with Expiration Dates Only] LOT number and expiration date
  • The amount of boxes being sent to our 3PL

Special Product Considerations

  • Details for bundled or kitted products (if applicable)

Step 2:

Once our support specialists send the above information to our 3PL warehouse, we'll receive a ASN number that is unique to you for that specific shipment. This may take 1-2 business days to receive. The ASN number is required on the shipping label to avoid delays when ingesting your products at the warehouse. It will look like this:

Step 3: 

While you wait for your ship notice, you can set up your product listings via your shop dashboard. 

IMPORTANT: Do not set your listing as Live yet. Keep it Hidden until you receive your ship notice from support. If you set your listing Live, this could result in frustrated supporters due to delayed delivery timelines. 

Shipping your products to our 3PL partners

Step 4: 

Before sending your goods, please ensure all items are bagged and SKU'd. Each SKU must also be separate in its packing. No mixed SKU cartons. (Ex. Different sizes of the same product must be in individual boxes)

If you are looking to ship multiple SKU's, separate them using boxes or bags. By doing this, your products will be received much faster.


Step 5:

Once you receive your shipping notice from support, you will use that unique number to ship your goods to our warehouse. Send the tracking information and the carton count to support, and they will share this with our 3PL warehouse. 

Step 6: 

The partner warehouse takes a few days to fully ingest your products depending if the items are poly-bagged, SKU'd, and the volume. (Read this article for tips on how to avoid additive fees.)  A creator support specialist will reach out to you once your goods are fully ingested and give you the green light to mark your product live!

Step 7:

Marking your product live and promoting it! Let the fun begin! 

Monthly Storage Fees 

Monthly storage fees are charged only for unsold inventory at the end of the month and are based on the number of units and size of the product.

Starting September 1st, 2024, the storage fee will be updated to the rates in the table below. All your stored items will be updated to reflect this new rate.
