You can now set the timezone for your entire Fourthwall site. This ensures that your analytics, post scheduling, and dashboard data all stay consistent, no matter where you or your team members are located.
Why does the timezone matter?
Before this update:
- Analytics were always shown in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time)
- Scheduled posts, order timestamps, and member sign-up dates used your local browser time
Now, everything uses your site’s selected timezone, which means:
- Your analytics, orders, and member data will all reflect the same timezone
- Your scheduled posts will publish based on the timezone you pick
- All downloaded reports and CSV exports will follow your chosen timezone
- Everyone on your team will see dates and times in your selected site timezone, even if they’re in a different country
Note: Payouts will still use UTC for consistency. For example, a payout scheduled for July 3rd will cover the period from June 1st to June 30th (UTC time), not based on your site’s selected timezone..
Changing your dashboard timezone
By default, your site timezone is set to UTC. Here’s how to update it:
1. Within your Fourthwall Dashboard, go to Settings > General
2. Scroll to the timezone section and click the dropdown to choose your preferred timezone
3. Once you have selected the timezone, click save
Once saved, all future analytics, timestamps, and post scheduling will follow your new setting.
Should you change your timezone?
That depends on how you use your site:
Set it to your local timezone if you:
- Schedule posts regularly and want them to publish at your local time
- Prefer to see analytics based on your workday
Choose a shared timezone if you:
- Work with a team in multiple time zones and want everyone to stay aligned
- Leave it on UTC if you’re used to it and don’t rely on post scheduling or local time reports
