What is a requestable product

Request specialty products and items not in the Fourthwall catalog with help from our product listing team

Not every product is ready for instant design with the drag-and-drop product designer. Some items need manual prep before you can sell them, and some items aren't in the Fourthwall catalog at all yet. There are two paths for getting these products onto your shop.

Which path to use​

  • The product is in the catalog with a "Requestable" badge. Submit a requestable product directly from the catalog. Read the section below for the workflow.
  • The product is not in the Fourthwall catalog. Submit the Custom Product Sourcing Request Form. This is the right path for items like boonie hats, outdoor hats, specific accessory shapes, or any product type you don't see in the catalog.

If you searched the catalog for a specific item, like a boonie hat, beanie style, or another accessory, and didn't find it, use the Custom Product Sourcing Request Form to ask our team to source it for you.

How requestable products work​

These are catalog products marked with a "Requestable" badge. They need manual preparation by our product listing team before you can sell them.

  1. Upload your designs for the request.
  2. The manufacturer positions your artwork and generates product renders.
  3. The manufacturer uploads the requested product into your Fourthwall dashboard in a hidden state for you to review and approve.
  4. If there are issues creating your requestable product, our listing team reaches out by email with suggestions (keep an eye on your spam and junk folders).
  5. Once you are happy with the final version, mark the product as live or order a sample. To change any aspect of the requestable product, email us at support@fourthwall.com.

You can submit one requestable product per month directly from the catalog. To request more in the same month, submit the Custom Product Sourcing Request Form separately for each item.

Requesting a product that's not in the catalog​

If the exact product you want is not in the Fourthwall catalog at all, the Custom Product Sourcing Request Form is your path. Common examples include:

  • Boonie hats, bucket hats, and other outdoor or specialty headwear shapes.
  • Specific accessory types not currently listed, like niche bag styles or specialty drinkware.
  • Apparel cuts or fits not represented in the existing catalog.

Submit one form per item you'd like to source. Our team reviews each request and follows up by email with options or next steps.
