Admin Navigation Bar on Your Storefront

Quickly jump to your dashboard, theme editor, and other admin tools without leaving your storefront

When you're logged in to your Fourthwall account and visit your storefront, a navigation bar appears at the bottom of the page. This bar gives you one-click access to key dashboard pages and the theme editor, so you can manage your shop while browsing it as your supporters would.

Only creators and team members with admin access can see the admin navigation bar. Supporters never see it, and it does not appear on your public storefront.

What the admin navigation bar provides​

The admin navigation bar sits at the bottom of your storefront and includes quick links to frequently used dashboard pages:

  • Dashboard home. Jump straight to your main dashboard overview.
  • Theme editor. Open the theme editor to adjust your shop's layout, colors, fonts, and sections.
  • Products. Go to your product catalog to add, edit, or manage listings.
  • Orders. View recent orders and fulfillment status.
  • Settings. Access your shop settings, shipping, payments, and other configuration pages.

The bar appears on every page of your storefront as long as you are logged in with an admin account.

When the admin bar appears​

The admin navigation bar shows up automatically when two conditions are met:

  1. You are signed in to your Fourthwall account.
  2. You are viewing your own storefront (not the dashboard).

If you sign out or open your storefront in an incognito window, the bar will not appear. This lets you preview your shop exactly as supporters see it.

Dismissing the admin bar​

You can close the admin navigation bar by clicking the dismiss or close control on the bar. It will reappear the next time you load a storefront page while logged in.

To see your storefront completely free of the admin bar, open your shop URL in an incognito or private browsing window. This gives you the same view your supporters have.

Who can see the admin bar​

The admin navigation bar is visible only to accounts with admin access to the shop. This includes:

  • Shop owner. The creator who owns the Fourthwall account.
  • Team members with admin roles. Anyone invited to the team with the right permissions.

Supporters, visitors, and anyone without admin access will never see the bar. It has no effect on your shop's appearance for the public.

Frequently asked questions​

Does the admin bar affect my shop's performance or SEO?​

No. The admin bar loads only when you are logged in as an admin. Supporters and search engine crawlers never receive it as part of the page.

No. The admin bar includes a fixed set of quick-access links to core dashboard pages. You cannot add or remove links from it.

Will supporters see the admin bar if I share my screen?​

Supporters cannot see the admin bar on their own devices. However, if you share your screen or record a video while logged in, the bar will be visible in the recording. Sign out or use an incognito window before recording supporter-facing content.
