Add verified product reviews to your shop and build trust with potential supporters
Echobrain is the first third-party app available on Fourthwall. It lets you collect verified product reviews from supporters who have actually purchased your products. Reviews appear directly on your product pages, giving potential buyers social proof before they commit to a purchase.
Install Echobrain
Install the Echobrain app from your Fourthwall dashboard.
- Go to Apps in your Fourthwall dashboard.
- Find Echobrain in the apps list and click Install.
- Create your Echobrain account when prompted. You'll enter a name, email address, and password to register directly through the Echobrain onboarding flow.
- Once registered, follow the on-screen steps to connect your Fourthwall shop and configure your review settings (review request timing, email templates, and display preferences).
After installation, Echobrain appears as a connected app in your Apps page.
Access the Echobrain dashboard
To open the Echobrain dashboard and manage your reviews:
- Go to Apps in your Fourthwall dashboard.
- Find Echobrain in the list of installed apps.
- Click Open (or the Echobrain app card) to launch the Echobrain dashboard in a new tab.
From the Echobrain dashboard, you can view all submitted reviews, adjust review request settings, customize your review widget, and manage your Echobrain account.
How review collection works
Echobrain sends review request emails to supporters after they receive an order. Supporters click a link in the email, leave a star rating and written review, and submit it through Echobrain's verified review flow.
Reviews are tied to confirmed purchases, so only supporters who actually bought the product can leave a review. This keeps your review content trustworthy and prevents fake or incentivized reviews from appearing on your shop.
You control the timing of review request emails in your Echobrain settings. Most creators set requests to send a few days after estimated delivery, giving supporters time to try the product before reviewing it.
Echobrain automatically uses your shop's Customer support email address (set in Settings > General > Creator details) as the Reply-To address on review request emails, so any supporter replies come straight to you.
Do not use an auto-generated @support.fourthwall.com address as your Reply-To, since those inboxes route to Fourthwall Support and not to you.
How reviews appear on your storefront
Once a review is approved, it appears on the product page for the reviewed item. Supporters browsing your shop see the star rating summary and individual reviews below the product details.
The review widget matches your shop's styling automatically, so it blends with your existing product page layout without requiring custom code.
Managing your reviews
Inside the Echobrain app, you can see all submitted reviews, their status (pending, approved, or rejected), and the products they are for. You can approve or reject reviews before they appear publicly on your shop.

Frequently asked questions
Can any supporter leave a review?
No. Only supporters who have completed a purchase of the product can leave a review. Echobrain verifies purchase history before allowing a review to be submitted.
Do reviews appear on all products automatically?
Reviews appear on products that have received at least one approved review. Products with no reviews do not show a review section until the first review is approved.
Can I respond to reviews?
Response options depend on your Echobrain plan. Check the Echobrain app settings for available features.
Can I manually add or import reviews?
Echobrain collects reviews through its verified purchase flow, so reviews are tied to real orders. If you need to import existing reviews or manually add reviews, contact Echobrain support at support@echobrain.io to ask about available import options.
Does Echobrain cost extra?
Echobrain is a third-party app with its own pricing. Installing it from the Fourthwall Apps section connects it to your shop, but Echobrain's fees are separate from your Fourthwall plan.
