Create a combined product listing
Group multiple design variations of the same product into one organized listing
With the combined product feature, you can group multiple design variations of the same product into one listing. For example, if you offer a Fourthwall logo T-shirt, you might want a white logo for dark shirts and a black logo for light shirts. Instead of creating two separate listings, you can combine them into a single product listing.
There are two ways to create a combined listing: from the Create new product menu, or by selecting eligible products directly from your product list.
Limitations of combined product listings
Option A: Create a combined listing from the Create new product menu
First, create each design as its own product in your Fourthwall dashboard. Using the example above, we would make one black T-shirt with the Fourthwall white logo and then a separate white T-shirt with the Fourthwall black logo. To learn more about how to create a product, see Create New Product Listings.
Step 1: Create individual product listings
First, create each design as its own product in your Fourthwall dashboard. Using the example above, you would make one black T-shirt with the Fourthwall white logo and then a separate white T-shirt with the Fourthwall black logo. To learn more about creating a product, see Create New Product Listings.
You can only combine the exact same product type (e.g., Bella Canvas T-shirt with Bella Canvas T-shirt) and printing technique. You can't mix different products like a hoodie and a T-shirt. Additionally, you cannot combine products that share the same color variant. For example, if two products both include a black colorway, they can't be combined.
Step 2: Combine the product listings
Click Create a new product within your Products tab. In the pop-up screen, select Combine product listings to start creating the combined listing.

Click Select products, choose the individual listings you want to combine, then click Confirm.

Once the individual product listings are combined, they will not be available to sell separately.
You can set which product appears as the main image of the combined listing. Click the dots icon and drag the product you want as the primary image to the top of the list.

Update the combined listing name, add an optional description, then click Save.

Be sure to change the listing status to Live once you're ready to publish it on your Fourthwall shop. The combined listing will look like the one below, just like a regular product listing.

Option B: Create a combined listing from the product list
You can also create a combined listing by selecting eligible products directly from the All Products list. Products that can be combined are highlighted with a Combinable tag, making it easy to spot which ones are eligible.
Step 1: Go to Products > All Products in your dashboard.
Step 2: Look for products marked with the Combinable tag. Select the products you want to combine by clicking the checkbox next to each one.
Your selections persist as you navigate between pages of the product list. You can browse through multiple pages, selecting eligible products as you go, without losing your earlier selections.
Step 3: Once you've selected all the products you want to group, click the option to combine them into a combined listing.
Step 4: Reorder the products by dragging them, update the listing name and description, then click Save.
Step 5: Set the listing status to Live when you're ready to publish.
Limitations of combined product listings
- You can only combine the exact same product type (e.g., Bella Canvas T-shirt with Bella Canvas T-shirt) and the same printing technique (Direct-to-Garment (DTG), Direct-to-Film (DTFx), Embroidery, etc).
- You cannot combine product listings that have the same base color (e.g., both individual listings contain the black color of the AS Colour Hoodie).
- To edit the art, you have to edit the individual product listing. This requires removing it from the combined listing, but you can re-combine them after.
- Once the individual product listings are combined, they will not be available to sell separately.
